The Nordic bio-economy initiative `NordBio Initiative´ was formed during the Icelandic Presidency of the Nordic Councils of Ministers in 2014. The three-year projects purpose is to promote the sustainable exploitation of living natural resources in the Nordic countries. And it's the Icelanders' goal to establish cooperation between Iceland, Greenland and the Faroe Islands on better exploitation of the living resources. Guðrún Lilja Kristinsdóttir, Advisor at the Department for Sustainability, The Environment Agency of Iceland came to Nuuk to inform about NordBio´s content and tasks.
