National Day Seminar 2015

On June 23, 2015, the Greenland Representation to the EU organized a seminar and reception in honour of the celebration of the Greenland National Day, June 21. The title of the seminar was: "Greenland in the Arctic-economic diversification and sustainable development"

The Greenland National Day Seminar took place on the 23rd of June, with the title: "Greenland in the Arctic- Economic diversification and sustainable development." The seminar was attended by a wide range of stakeholders and amongst the main speakers were the Minister of Business, Labour, Trade and Foreign Affairs Mr. Vittus Qujaukitsoq as well as the Minister of Finances and Mineral Resources Mr. Andreas Uldum. The purpose of the seminar was to inform about the economic conditions and possibilities in Greenland, as well as the possibilities within the new European Fund for Strategic Investments. The seminar was followed by a reception, which including a seafood buffet, sponsored by Polar Seafood.
